FISHING REPORT EARLY SPRING 2026
Swordfish are biting strong right now — the action is wide open! Mahi are will start to show up in the next month or so and by May 1st, they should be thick. Deepwater grouper and tiles are in season and biting strong.
Scattered wahoo and tuna are showing up along the ledge just waiting on a warm water push to fire off that season. Cobia and spadefish are becoming more active nearshore. Bottom fishing is producing solid catches of beeliners, snapper, and triggerfish, with grouper season opening May 1st.
Honestly, this is one of the best times to be on the water — don’t miss out on the action!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring any snacks or beer you’d like (no glass bottles), and we’ll provide water onboard. Lunch is included on full-day trips, and don’t forget to pack sunblock to stay protected while you’re out on the water.

​Depending on the time of year, we target different species, but if you have a particular fish in mind, we can focus on that specifically. A few days before each trip, I’ll touch base to put together a game plan so we’re ready to go. Every trip can be customized to fit your needs and make sure you have the best experience possible.
